Job summary

Dell Technologies is seeking a Senior Principal Engineer - DLC Mechanical Commissioning Lead to drive the commissioning of liquid cooling infrastructure in Norway. You will oversee design reviews, readiness assessments and customer handover while shaping standards and methodologies for the DLC business.

The role combines deep engineering with leadership in a fast-evolving AI-enabled environment. You will mentor commissioning engineers, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure safety,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of commissioning, deployment, operations or engineering in mission-critical environments.
• Strong understanding of heat transfer, fluid dynamics, pumping, materials compatibility and corrosion control.
• Technical report writing, troubleshooting and analytical capabilities.
• Desirable experience with DLC infrastructure, CxAlloy, and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate internal deployment teams and customer teams through mechanical commissioning lifecycle.
• Be the onsite technical authority for mechanical commissioning activities and escalations.
• Review drawings, control philosophies and sequences to ensure readiness and design intent alignment.
• Ensure safe execution, compliance with EHS, RAMS and risk assessments during commissioning.
• Lead root cause investigations and knowledge transfer to customers and partners.
