Job summary

Ikm Gruppen AS seeks an experienced MC field engineer for Hammerfest to manage field tasks, installations, and documentation. You will perform punch-out rounds and handover to clients, ensuring timely delivery and quality of project records.

Requirements include a trade certificate or higher in Electrical/Automation/Telecom, 3–5 years in a similar role, and English language proficiency. Rotation 14/21, daily day shift, October 2026–October 2028.

Responsibilities

• Perform MC (Mechanical Completion) field engineering tasks.
• Follow up on installations and project activities.
• Conduct punch-out rounds and manage the handover process to the client.
• Ensure the timely delivery and quality of project documentation.

Required expertise

• Trade certificate, technical college diploma, or bachelor's degree in Electrical, Automation, or Telecom disciplines. Extensive relevant experience may compensate for a lack of formal education.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Procosys and Pims365 systems.
• Strong knowledge of MC processes and completion projects.
• Familiarity with the work processes of major operators is highly advantageous.
• Previous lead experience is desirable.
• Must hold valid certificates for: Basic EX, FSE (High/Low Voltage with First Aid), AT/SJA, and Fall Protection.
