Job summary

A successful engineering consultancy is seeking an Instrument Engineer in Sandefjord. The role involves guiding design solutions in compliance with French regulations, conducting site surveys, and preparing technical documentation. Candidates should hold a relevant degree and have strong proficiency in both English and French. This is a full-time position for a 1-year assignment, starting as soon as possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Alternatively, a technical college degree with a minimum of 12 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong competence in French regulatory requirements within the instrument discipline.

Instrument Engineer

Responsibilities

• Guide fellow engineers on material and design solutions in compliance with French regulations.
• Conduct site surveys to establish optimal designs in collaboration with contractors and operations personnel.
• Prepare and deliver technical documentation according to client specifications.
• Specify necessary materials and bulk items for installation packages.
• Collaborate effectively with other project disciplines and the client.

Required expertise

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Alternatively, a technical college degree with a minimum of 12 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong competence in French regulatory requirements within the instrument discipline.
• Proficiency with MS Office; experience with PIMS is considered an advantage.
• Professional working proficiency in both English and French is required.

Work schedule: Full-time
