Job summary

Norwegian Church Aid is seeking a Senior Advisor for GBV in Emergencies to strengthen survivor-centred, evidence-based GBV programming across our humanitarian portfolio. You will provide technical leadership, build country office capacities, and support learning across contexts while collaborating with partners and networks.

The role focuses on applying IASC GBV Guidelines, adapting tools to country contexts, and contributing to the NGO's humanitarian strategy and monitoring.

Qualifications

• Requires advanced degree or substantial relevant field experience.
• Minimum five years in GBV prevention and response programming in crisis settings, including international exposure.
• Fluency in English; French/Arabic an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen programme quality with survivor-centred, evidence-based GBV approaches.
• Integrate GBV prevention and response into broader humanitarian programming with cross-team collaboration.
• Provide technical leadership and contribute to strategic plan execution.
