Job summary

WindSim AS in Oslo seeks a senior frontend developer to influence technology and product direction as we rebuild Accelerator. You’ll own frontend work and help shape API layer, collaborating with CFD, backend, and product teams.

Our stack includes Angular and TypeScript on the frontend, Rust on the backend, with opportunities to influence architecture and pick right external components or in-house solutions as we modernize across GIS, 3D visualization, and data services.

Qualifications

• Strong frontend experience with TypeScript and modern frameworks, preferably Angular.
• Experience with a statically typed backend language is a plus.
• Master's degree or higher education.

Responsibilities

• Building the frontend and user experience for Accelerator.
• Designing and implementing APIs and services in Rust.
• Integrating with third-party services for GIS, visualization, and data.
• Collaborating closely with the backend, CFD, and product teams.
• Contributing across the full development cycle: idea, design, development, operations, and improvement.
• Participating in architecture and technology decisions.
