Job summary

Soben, part of Accenture, is seeking an experienced Estimator for Norway to deliver robust cost estimates across infrastructure, energy, and data centre projects. You will lead pre-contract estimating efforts, benchmark against regional data, and ensure alignment with local market conditions and global best practices.

With 8-10+ years in construction estimating, you will apply tools like CostX, Candy and Causeway, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with clients and stakeholders to drive cost

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years estimating experience in construction, infra, or energy sectors.
• Experience in pre-contract estimating and cost planning.
• Ability to interpret complex drawings and documents for accurate cost output.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates aligned with design maturity and project requirements.
• Analyse drawings and docs to identify key cost drivers and risks.
• Benchmark data against historical Norwegian project data and local market conditions.
• Develop unit rates and pricing strategies for the Nordic market.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to align scope and cost.
• Mentor junior estimators and ensure compliance with Accenture/Soben standards.
