Vard Group AS, a global leader in maritime electrical systems, seeks a Senior Engineer to lead switchgear design and delivery within international projects. You will contribute to development, documentation, supplier coordination, and certification processes while supporting project teams across the VARD value chain.

Ideal candidates will have a degree in engineering, hands-on switchboard experience in the marine sector, and fluency in English and Norwegian.

Formación

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in switchboard engineering within marine projects.
• Experience working in the marine industry.
• Knowledge of maritime power systems.
• Proficiency in English and Norwegian.

We are currently looking for aSenior Engineerto join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to apply your expertise, collaborate with skilled colleagues, and contribute to exciting projects across the VARD value chain.

Technical responsibility for Switchgear Products (Switchboard, Shore Connections, Distribution and Protection systems,etc)

• Design and development
• Technical documentation
• Selection of 3rd party suppliers
• Delivery of switchgear products, newbuilding and retrofit
• Class Approval and Product Certification
• Technical support for project team

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience
• Experience from Switchboard engineering
• Experience of working within the marine industry
• Knowledge of Maritime power systems
• Good knowledge of both English and Norwegian language
