Job summary
AutoStore is seeking a Senior Electronics Safety Engineer to join our R&D team in Vindafjord. You will lead hands-on design of safety electronics, including a safety controller, PCB layout, and safety verification across product lines.
You will work as the electronics safety specialist, shaping approach across R&D and collaborating with certification partners to bring safe, reliable solutions from design through validation and production.
Qualifications
- 8+ years experience in electronics engineering with wireless and safety electronics.
- Full PCB development cycle experience, EMC-aware design.
- Experience with functional safety standards (IEC 61508, ISO 13849, IEC 62061).
- Proficiency with Altium, LTSpice, STM32, and cable harness design.
Responsibilities
- Drive design and development of safety electronics from architecture to release.
- Develop safety logic and redundancy to ensure reliable products.
- Apply expertise across AutoStore product portfolio including wireless solutions.
- Coordinate with external partners on safety certification and validation.
- Plan and deliver milestones with clear technical visibility.
