Job summary

Ubiq Aerospace in Trondheim, Norway, is seeking an Electronics Design Engineer to own electronic hardware development from concept to tested PCB hardware. You will design, prototype and validate power and signal electronics for autonomous aircraft in a small, multidisciplinary team.

You will collaborate across engineering to drive hardware decisions, perform system-level analysis and contribute to future hardware architecture.

Qualifications

• Relevant education within electronics, power electronics, electrical engineering or a related field.
• Hands-on experience designing electronic hardware and taking PCB designs from concept to working hardware.
• Experience with schematic capture and complete PCB layout, including component placement and routing.
• Strong understanding of analogue and digital circuits and capability to select components with trade-offs.
• Experience bringing up and debugging newly manufactured PCBs and solving hardware problems.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end electronics design from requirements and architecture through circuit design and PCB layout.
• Prototype and bring-up of new hardware, including board bring-up and debugging.
• Design for manufacturing focusing on manufacturability, assembly and test.
