Job summary

Umbilical Advanced in Norway is seeking an Electrical Subject Matter Expert (Power) to lead the electrical operations for a new data centre campus. You will own critical power infrastructure, establish operating standards and maintenance strategies, and guide the campus as it moves into live operations.

With 8+ years in data centre or critical facilities, hands-on HV/LV experience, LV/HV Authorised Person certification, you will operate autonomously and collaborate with site leadership to ensure

Qualifications

• 8+ years of data centre or mission-critical power experience.
• Hands-on with HV/LV distribution, UPS, generators and switchgear.
• Experience in maintenance, risk management and incident response.
• LV/HV Authorised Person certification with switching authorisation.
• Fluent English and professional Norwegian.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary technical authority for critical electrical infrastructure.
• Oversee HV/LV systems, UPS, generators, transformers and switchgear performance.
• Develop operating procedures and maintenance strategies.
• Plan preventive maintenance and high-risk switching activities.
• Lead troubleshooting, investigations and corrective actions.
• Support commissioning and handover as campus starts operations.
• Collaborate with site leadership and external stakeholders.
