Job summary

Techconsult AS invites applications for an Electrical - Senior Engineer Stavanger role. Based in Stavanger, you will perform and verify electrical installation designs for offshore modification projects and manage packages to meet heat trace requirements.

You will bring a Bachelor or Master degree and at least 5 years of experience on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, with knowledge of NORSOK/ATEX/PTIL/IEC and IEC 62443 cybersecurity requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in relevant field
• Minimum 5 years of electrical engineering experience on the Norwegian Continental Shelf
• Knowledge of NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, IEC, and cyber security (IEC 62443)
• Offshore certificate with helicopter escape and health certificate
• Basic EX course and FSE high/low voltage with practical first aid

Responsibilities

• Perform and verify design of electrical installations.
• Package Responsible Engineer
• Define and design heat trace requirement in accordance with P&IDs
• Prepare, check and approve MTO.
• Prepare check and approve technical requisitions.
• Follow up vendors.
• Insert data into engineering registry.
• Produce engineering work packages.
• Interface with other disciplines
• Site surveys
