We are planning to strengthen our energetic, ambitious, and enthusiastic team with a Senior Electrical Engineer with deep expertise in electrical power systems and system integration.

This is a permanent position located at Stord, Norway.

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will take the lead in integrating complex electrical propulsion systems, including generators, motors, drives, batteries, switchboards, transformers, and both AC and DC systems. Your work will be central to delivering full electric solutions for both newbuild and retrofit ships and offshore installations, ensuring seamless performance and reliability across all components. You will be part of a versatile and forward‑thinking work environment where new technology is continuously explored and applied. The role demands broad technical knowledge and offers the opportunity to collaborate with highly skilled colleagues across disciplines. As a senior team member, you will also provide mentorship and share your expertise to support the development of others, contributing to a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have
  • A Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Bachelor’s degree with equivalent experience
  • Several years of professional experience within the marine sector, especially in the fields of offshore and ships
  • A structured and practical way of working with hands‑on attitude
  • Knowledge within electrical engineering programmes
  • Good communication skills in English and Norwegian, written and spoken
