Pearson Carter Limited is seeking a Senior Data & Analytics Engineer to advance data capabilities within a luxury hospitality context. You will combine data engineering, BI and analytics to build robust datasets and deliver actionable insights for strategic decisions.
You’ll work with Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, SQL and BI tools, collaborating with stakeholders to shape the data strategy. This is a hybrid London role with flexible hours and meaningful impact.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Data & Analytics Engineer to join an internationally recognised organisation operating within the luxury hospitality sector.
The business is looking to strengthen its data capabilities, moving away from traditional reporting methods towards a more connected, efficient and insight-driven approach.
You’ll play an important role in improving how information is collected, structured and used across the organisation, working closely with senior stakeholders to support strategic decisions.
With a small, collaborative technology team, this position offers genuine autonomy and the opportunity to make a visible impact.
This is a varied position combining data engineering, business intelligence and analytics, with responsibility for developing the organisation’s data capabilities.
Your responsibilities will include:
Building and optimising data integration workflows using Azure Data Factory
Developing and managing data solutions within Snowflake
Connecting information from multiple business systems into reliable datasets
Improving existing BI dashboards and reporting capabilities
Using SQL to extract, transform and analyse complex information
Identifying data inconsistencies and improving overall data accuracy
Working directly with business departments to understand reporting challenges
Producing meaningful insights to support commercial and operational decisions
Supporting future developments involving AI and advanced analytics
We’re interested in speaking with technically strong data professionals who can also understand the commercial value of the information they’re working with.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Data Engineering, BI or Analytics position
Proven hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory
Strong working knowledge of Snowflake
Advanced SQL and database experience
Experience developing ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines
Reporting and visualisation experience using Tableau or Power BI
Knowledge of Python or a comparable programming language
Experience handling large datasets from multiple sources
Confidence communicating technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
Ability to manage projects independently and recommend improvements
Previous experience contributing to data strategy, improving reporting environments or modernising existing data infrastructure would be particularly valuable.
Rather than joining a large data department with established processes, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape how data is managed and utilised throughout the business.
You’ll work across both engineering and analytics, gaining exposure to business-wide projects and contributing directly to how the organisation develops its data strategy.
