The successful candidate will work at the intersection of communications, public affairs and business development, supporting Northern Lights as we expand our customer base, enter new markets and help shape the policy frameworks underpinning a new European industry.
Based at our headquarters in Stavanger, you will report to and work in close partnership with the Director for Communication & Public Affairs.
Translate complex industrial, technical, and commercial topics into clear, accurate, and engaging stories tailored to diverse stakeholders.
Work closely with the commercial team in different markets on the announcements of new customer contracts, milestones, and market expansion.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with our joint venture partners (Equinor, Shell, TotalEnergies) and external stakeholders.
Participate in the company's emergency response organisation.
Plan and execute visits, events, and representation at our terminal in Øygarden and headquarters in Stavanger, serving as a trusted representative for the company.

You hold a degree in communications, journalism, or a related field. Experience in crisis communications and emergency response is an advantage.
To succeed in this role, you are a hands‑on communicator who takes initiative and enjoy writing and producing high‑quality content independently. You understand the commercial context of our business and know how to tailor messages to different audiences. You are adaptable and resilient, able to prioritise effectively and stay calm when balancing competing stakeholder interests in a fast‑paced enviroment.
Fluency in both written and spoken English and Norwegian are required.
You will play a central role in driving our success while embodying our core values: Innovative, Dedicated, Reliable, and Open.
