Ready to Take the Lead as a Senior Chef?
We call it 1. kokk, others may call it senior chef, but the point is that you work closely with the restaurant’s management team and the Kitchen Manager, taking on a larger share of responsibility in the daily kitchen operations.
When things get busy, you keep a cool head and act as an important support for the leadership team. The role requires a strong presence in the kitchen to ensure food quality, efficient operations and solid control. You help make sure our guests receive a complete and memorable experience at Egon Åsane, while contributing to a positive and safe working environment.
Your tasks include planning and preparation such as receiving goods, producing sauces and dressings, portioning meat and general mise en place work. You will be responsible for preparing á la carte dishes according to Egon’s menu, and you also take part in following up the company’s HACCP/IK routines to maintain high standards in cleaning, hygiene, food safety and all details connected to our concept. We aim for everyone in the kitchen to rotate on different stations to ensure a varied workday and consistent quality across all areas.
Flexible working hours can be arranged if needed. Good salary is provided.
