Senior Automation Engineer – Norwegian Continental Shelf

Who we are looking for

We are now looking for Senior Engineers within Automation discipline who have a dream of working on a project in Haugesund. However, candidates who want to work at the Bergen location can also apply. Please specify which location you are interested in.

The ideal candidate will have minimum 8 years’ experience from automation engineering in projects to be located on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

You will be working in an international environment, so fluent English or Norwegian is necessary.

What you will be responsible for
  • Perform and verify design of electrical installations
  • Define and design heat trace requirement in accordance with P&IDs
  • Prepare, check and approve MTO
  • Prepare check and approve technical requisitions
  • Follow up vendors
  • Insert data into engineering registry
  • Interface with other disciplines
Required Education
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree within the relevant area
Required Work Experience
  • Experience from electrical engineering in large modification projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf
  • Experience and knowledge of electrical design according to relevant standard such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL and IEC.
  • Experience with Equinor technical requirements (TRs), STID, and Procosys
Required Qualifications
  • Able to work independently as well as a part of a team.

Required Certificates
  • Basic EX course. 6-8 hours online, or 22.5 hours in the classroom
  • FSE - High and low voltage with first aid
