Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Senior Accountant IC3 to own core areas of the general ledger and month-end close in a high-growth environment. You will collaborate with Central Cash, FA, Intercompany, Leases, AP/AR, payroll, tax, and external auditors while driving process improvements and ensuring US GAAP compliance.

The role emphasizes end-to-end ownership, early escalation of blockers, and contributing to the HR plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including ownership of month-end close tasks and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP.
• Hands-on experience with a major ERP (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups/INDEX-MATCH).
• Track record of meeting hard close deadlines with high accuracy and complete documentation.
• Track record of setting up new processes and controls.

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end close and general ledger tasks with deadlines and escalations as needed.
• Review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations; ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare and review monthly flux/variance analyses and leadership highlights.
• Execute internal controls (SOX or equivalent) and manage PBC requests for audits and testing.
• Identify inefficiencies in close and reporting processes and implement improvements (automation, standardization).
• Support onboarding of new team members and provide coverage during high-volume periods.
