Job summary

Landmark Software & Services, a Halliburton company, seeks a senior engineer to shape 3D engineering applications and digital twins. You will connect back-end data processing with real-time rendering and UX design, using Unity, WebGL, Three.js, and modern web frameworks to take solutions from prototype to production.

You will lead 3D component architecture, design XR interactions for inspection and collaboration, and optimize pipelines for large CAD and geospatial datasets while guiding code

Qualifications

• Master's degree in CS or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 20+ years of wide-ranging software development, graphics, and design experience.
• Deep proficiency in Unity and C#, with ownership of a large real-time 3D codebase.
• Strong knowledge of rendering, shading, geometry, and performance optimization with hands-on 3D production.
• Experience designing and implementing 3D and XR interactions from user research to testing with domain users.
• Strong aesthetic judgment for composition, lighting, materials, and visual hierarchy in engineering tools.
• Experience converting and optimizing large CAD/geospatial datasets, including coordinates/terrain/point clouds.
• Excellent communication to explain technical trade-offs to product/design stakeholders.
• Practical knowledge of AI tools and model integration, both hosted and local.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and technical direction of the 3D component.
• Design and build 3D and XR interactions for inspection and collaboration.
• Develop processing pipelines, shaders, and reusable tools; improve memory usage and performance with large data.
• Prepare and integrate CAD models, geospatial data, point clouds for real-time visualization.
• Lead design and code reviews; strengthen testing and debugging tooling.
• Evaluate and integrate AI to improve engineering workflows with attention to reliability and cost.
