Job summary

Avanath Capital Management, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our multifamily communities safe, functional, and welcoming. You will diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and more, respond to resident requests, and help with make-ready tasks to prepare homes for new residents.

The role requires hands-on skills, EPA Type II or Universal certification preferred, on-call availability, and a reliable means of transportation.

Qualifications

• 2 years of multifamily maintenance experience
• Hands-on maintenance skills including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, appliances, pools
• EPA Type II or Universal certification preferred; CPO a plus
• Availability to be on-call for emergencies
• Reliable transportation and a positive attitude
• Superior customer service and communication skills
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Basic computer knowledge (Windows Word, Excel)

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with every interaction and high-quality maintenance service
• Complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance on the property
• Finish make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing and move-ins
• Assist in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts and tracking inventory
• Adhere to safety, policies, and regulatory requirements
