Job summary

Basement is seeking a Visual Designer to join our studio full-time, crafting digital experiences across web and marketing touchpoints for US-based tech startups. You’ll own visual projects end-to-end, translate briefs into beautiful, functional pieces, and collaborate with creative leadership to raise the bar.

This remote role prefers GMT-3 overlap; daily use of Figma and strong communication will help grow our team’s creative output.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in visual or digital design roles.
Strong portfolio showcasing web design and digital visual work.
Solid understanding of UI/UX principles; product experience is a plus.
Fluent English for day-to-day communication with clients.

Responsibilities

Design high-quality websites, landing pages, and digital experiences.
Create visual assets for marketing: social ads, presentations, and brand pieces.
Translate briefs, strategy, and user needs into clear visual solutions.
Lead client calls, presentations, and design reviews.
Use Slack, Notion and Figma daily to communicate and push pixels.
Experiment, explore, and contribute to the team’s creative growth.
