Job summary

Staffer.ai, part of the Vergence initiative, is seeking a Senior Clojure Developer to drive backend solutions for AI-powered hiring software.

You will collaborate with senior engineers and data scientists to implement robust Clojure-based services, integrate AI features, and deliver scalable, high-performance systems in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Senior experience in Clojure.
• Experience with recruitment software or ATS preferred.
• Familiar with Lisp-based languages such as Common Lisp, Scheme, or Racket.
• Passionate about functional programming and modern software development practices.
• Comfortable working with PostgreSQL and web frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend solutions using Clojure for scalable, high-performance applications.
