Job summary

Techconsult is seeking a Commissioning Coordinator for SAS integration to coordinate remote commissioning across the project portfolio. You will establish best practices, define scope for remote execution, and ensure alignment with the client’s commissioning strategy.

You’ll act as a liaison with Future Operations and MMA use, supporting IOC facilities setup. The role requires deep SAS experience, SIL knowledge, FAT/iFAT testing, and oil/gas project exposure.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or related field.
• Extensive experience with Safety and Automation System (SAS).
• Strong knowledge of SIL (IEC 61508/61511).
• Experience with FAT/iFAT – sub-system testing and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all remote commissioning activities for SAS across the project portfolio and ensure consistent execution across assets.
• Establish, document and maintain best practice for remote commissioning within SAS, including governing documents, procedures, work instructions and quick guides.
• Identify and categorise SAS commissioning scope suitable for remote execution (e.g. loop checks, function tests, software verification, FAT/iFAT support, sub-system testing and troubleshooting).
• Liaise with Future Operations on requirements, layout, infrastructure and readiness of the onshore control rooms supporting remote commissioning.
• Ensure alignment with Company’s commissioning strategy and digital ways of working.
• Coordinate with SAS suppliers, system integrators, operations and contractors on remote commissioning interfaces and access arrangements.
• Support planning, scheduling and resource allocation for remote SAS activities.
• Define network, communication and cyber security requirements in cooperation with IT/OT.
• Capture lessons learned and share to mature the methodology.
• Participate in technology assessments and qualification of new tools for remote SAS commissioning.
• Report status and KPIs to relevant project forums.
• Raise improvement proposals related to remote commissioning
