Job summary

InstaCreative India is seeking a QA Engineer for a remote contract role based in Svalbard. You will perform manual and automated testing on web and mobile apps to ensure quality across features.

You will develop test plans and test scripts, collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues, and help improve testing processes. A bachelor's degree and 3+ years in QA are preferred, with experience in Agile/Scrum and bug-tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• 3+ years of QA Engineer experience or similar role required.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies (manual & automated).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes and bug tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated testing on web and mobile applications.
• Identify, document and track bugs throughout the testing process.
• Develop test plans, test cases and test scripts for feature coverage.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and propose resolutions.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testing and quality.
• Communicate testing progress and results to project managers and stakeholders.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
