InstaCreative India is seeking a QA Engineer for a remote contract role based in Svalbard. You will perform manual and automated testing on web and mobile apps to ensure quality across features.

You will develop test plans and test scripts, collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues, and help improve testing processes. A bachelor's degree and 3+ years in QA are preferred, with experience in Agile/Scrum and bug-tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• 3+ years of QA Engineer experience or similar role required.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies (manual & automated).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes and bug tracking tools.

Job Title QA Engineer Remote Location Svalbard Salary $1700 per month

We are a rapidly growing software development company that is seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Engineer to join our team on a contract basis

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated testing on web and mobile applications
• Identify document and track bugs and issues throughout the testing process
• Develop test plans test cases and test scripts to ensure comprehensive coverage of all features
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and provide recommendations for resolution
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on potential improvements or areas of concern
• Communicate testing progress and results to project managers and stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a QA Engineer or similar role

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
