Job summary

Genusjob is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to build the intelligence layer behind our products. You will transform behavioral data from thousands of businesses into accurate predictions and actionable insights, shipping models that customers can rely on.

You will work across the ML stack from feature engineering to LLM fine-tuning, with autonomy in a remote, async team. Strong ownership and clear communication are essential, with CET overlap.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building and shipping ML models in production
• Strong applied ML fundamentals: feature engineering, calibration, leakage avoidance, and honest evaluation
• Hands-on LLM fine-tuning experience (supervised fine-tuning at minimum)
• Fluency in Python and the modern ML stack (scikit-learn, gradient boosting, pandas/Polars, PyTorch)
• Comfort writing performant SQL over large datasets and working with event/columnar stores and relational databases
• Experience designing training and inference pipelines and the orchestration around them
• A strong sense of ownership and the ability to work autonomously in a remote, async team
• Clear written communication
• At least 4 hours overlap required with CET time zone

Responsibilities

• Build ML models and ship them to customers
• Own end-to-end ML pipelines from data engineering to deployment
• Develop and refine features for predictive modeling
• Fine-tune LLMs on proprietary data
• Collaborate with remote cross-functional teams
• Communicate clearly and asynchronously with stakeholders
