Job summary

Arya57 is seeking a meticulous Manual Tester to help ensure software quality through structured test plans, thorough execution, and careful defect reporting. This remote, full-time role emphasizes collaboration with developers and QA colleagues to deliver reliable products.

You will design and maintain test cases, perform exploratory testing, and participate in continuous improvement to raise usability and reliability across our applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Minimum 6 months training or experience in manual software testing.
• Proficiency in designing, executing, and maintaining manual test cases and suites.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools and defect lifecycle.
• ISTQB or similar certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans and strategies based on project requirements and specifications.
• Execute manual test cases, document results, and track defects to resolution.
• Identify, document, and report defects with steps to reproduce and relevant logs or screenshots.
• Perform regression testing after software updates to ensure existing functionality.
• Conduct exploratory and ad hoc testing to uncover issues not covered by predefined tests.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and project managers to align testing priorities and timelines.
• Maintain up-to-date test documentation and artifacts for repeatability.
• Contribute to process improvements to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Adhere to QA standards and best practices to ensure high software quality.
• Validate usability and accessibility aspects of the user experience.
