EuroTech’s Alta library is seeking a Reference Librarian to join our team. You will assist patrons in locating and accessing information and resources, both physical and digital, and provide research assistance and reference guidance.

Responsibilities include answering questions, recommending materials, and helping diverse patrons. A Library Science degree and 2+ years of library experience are required, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of library experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse populations.

Are you a detail-oriented organized and knowledgeable individual with a passion for helping others find the information they need If so our library in Alta is seeking a Reference Librarian to join our team

As a Reference Librarian you will be responsible for assisting patrons in locating and accessing information and resources both physical and digital This includes providing research assistance answering reference questions and recommending materials based on patrons interests and needs

To excel in this role you should have a degree in Library Science or a related field and at least 2 years of experience working in a library setting You must also possess strong communication skills and be able to work effectively with diverse populations

This position offers a salary of $1300 per month and includes free visa sponsorship and airfare to Alta While knowledge of Norwegian is preferred it is not required
