Job summary

GE HealthCare's PDx Radiochemistry team in Oslo seeks a Radiochemist to develop radiolabelled radiopharmaceuticals and manufacturing methods for clinical translation and commercial supply. The role is hands-on and maternity-cover, focusing on bench work within a multidisciplinary CMC development group.

You will design experiments, apply analytical methods, and document progress for regulatory packages while coordinating with manufacturing and regulatory teams across sites.

Qualifications

  • Degree in radiochemistry, chemistry or related field; PhD or MSc with practical experience.
  • Hands-on PET or radionuclide radiolabelling experience; [18F] fluoride labelling preferred.
  • Experience in radiopharmaceutical product development or production.
  • Knowledge of analytical techniques for radiopharmaceuticals (radio-HPLC, GC).
  • Strong written and verbal English communication; English is the working language.
  • Eligible to work in Norway.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, design and carry out radiochemistry experiments to develop radiolabelling methods for reliable supply through pre-clinical to commercial production.
  • Work hands-on in radiochemistry laboratory, handling radioactivity per safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Interpret results, troubleshoot labelling chemistry and iterate method development.
  • Apply and develop analytical methods for characterisation and release of radiolabelled products.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team across analytical development, manufacturing and regulatory affairs.
  • Coordinate with colleagues and external partners at other sites where work is shared.
  • Document work and author scientific reports and regulatory documentation (notebooks, development reports, IND, IMPD, NDA, MAA).
