GE HealthCare is seeking a Lead Analytical Scientist to join a 12‑month Molecular Imaging NPI program within Pharmaceutical Diagnostics R&D. In this laboratory role, you will perform GC and HPLC analyses, develop and validate analytical methods, and support formulation development.

You will work with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust analytical packages, ensure compliance with ICH and GxP requirements, and contribute to regulatory documentation.

Qualifications

  • MSc or PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Demonstrated practical experience with GC method development, troubleshooting, and verification/validation is essential.
  • Experience with other chromatographic techniques, including HPLC/UPLC, is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of analytical method development and validation principles in accordance with ICH and other applicable regulatory guidelines.
  • Strong scientific writing and documentation skills.
  • Highly motivated with a passion for rigorous science and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, time‑sensitive environment and manage competing priorities.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

As a Lead Analytical Scientist, you will join a dedicated 12-month Molecular Imaging New Product Introduction (NPI) program within Pharmaceutical Diagnostics R&D. In this laboratory-based role, you will provide analytical support for the development, characterization, and control strategy activities required to advance the program through key development milestones. You will perform hands‑on experimental work, including GC and HPLC analysis, analytical method development, qualification, verification, and routine testing to support radiochemistry and formulation development. You will interpret analytical data, contribute to analytical documentation, and help ensure robust analytical packages are delivered to support research and NPI projects. In addition, you will support GxP laboratory operations and quality systems while working closely with cross‑functional development teams to bring new products forward.   • Familiarity with Quality by Design (QbD) and Design of Experiments (DoE) principles.
  • Comfortable working in a Norwegian‑speaking environment.
