A reputable radio station in the city of Os is seeking a skilled and motivated Radio Technician to join our team. As a Radio Technician you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our radio broadcasting equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair radio broadcasting equipment such as transmitters, receivers, antennas, and other related devices.
• Monitor and troubleshoot technical issues with broadcast equipment to ensure uninterrupted operation.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in radio technology and make recommendations for upgrades or replacements as needed.
• Collaborate with other team members to plan and execute live broadcasts and special events.
• Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repairs performed on radio equipment.
• Adhere to safety regulations while working with electronic equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in electronics is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Radio Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of radio broadcasting equipment including transmitters, receivers, antennas, etc.
