Responsibilities

• Inspect and test radio equipment for proper functioning
• Identify and troubleshoot issues with radio equipment
• Perform repairs or replacements of faulty components
• Install new radio equipment as needed
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities
• Keep up-to-date with technological advancements in the field of radio technology
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding technical issues

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Radio Technician or similar role
• Knowledge of radio frequency (RF) principles and electronic circuitry
• Proficiency in using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters and signal generators
• Understanding of safety regulations related to working with high voltage equipment
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills in English; Norwegian is a plus

Salary

This is a contract position offering a salary of 1500$ per month.

Location

The job is located in Os, Norway. Due to the nature of the work some travel may be required within the country.
