Job summary

SRM Concrete (Smyrna Ready Mix) is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our quarry operations team. You will operate bulldozers, front-end loaders, and excavators to move materials safely and efficiently, supporting our safety and quality standards.

You will perform daily safety checks, coordinate with site management to plan material movement, and adjust equipment to meet project needs. A strong mechanical aptitude and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating heavy equipment in quarry or similar setting.
• Valid certification in operating heavy machinery.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
• Ability to perform minor equipment repairs.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, front-end loaders, excavators safely.
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on equipment.
• Coordinate with site management to plan material movement.
• Adjust equipment settings to meet project requirements.
