SRM Concrete, a family-owned leader in the ready mix concrete industry, seeks a Block Laborer to support our block plant operations. You will perform a variety of physical tasks, from shoveling and sweeping to cleaning, painting, and assisting mechanics, contributing to safe, efficient production.

This role requires a strong work ethic and ability to work outdoors in varying weather. Prior experience is preferred but not required; basic mechanical skills and adherence to safety guidelines are

Responsabilidades

• Shoveling: manually move materials and clear areas to ensure safe block operations.
• Sweeping and cleaning: maintain a clean work environment and steam clean equipment as required.
• Painting: apply paints and coatings to equipment and infrastructure.
• Mechanical assistance: support the mechanical team during maintenance and repair to minimize downtime.
• Lifting, pushing, and pulling: handle materials and equipment safely as part of daily operations.

About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Block Laborer. This role is essential to maintaining the functionality and cleanliness of our block operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks that aid in the maintenance and operation of the block plant. Duties will include but are not limited to shoveling, sweeping, steam cleaning, painting, mechanical assistance, and lifting, pushing, and pulling various objects.

Your Mission & Key Responsibilities

• - Shoveling: Manually move materials and clear areas to ensure safe and efficient block operations.
• - Sweeping and Cleaning: Maintain a clean work environment through sweeping debris and steam cleaning equipment and areas as required.
• - Painting: Apply paints and coatings to equipment, signs, and infrastructure to maintain aesthetic appearance and safety standards.
• - Mechanical Assistance: Provide support to the mechanical team during maintenance and repair activities to ensure minimal downtime of machinery.
• - Lifting, Pushing, and Pulling: Safely handle materials, tools, and equipment, including the lifting, pushing, and pulling of various objects as necessary for daily operations.
