Job summary

Dovre Solutions seeks a Quality & Risk Management professional to strengthen the organisation’s QRM capabilities across projects. You will train, facilitate, support and follow up within your area of responsibility.

You will lead QA/QRM governance in projects, collaborate with project control, suppliers and partners, and focus on continuous improvement through KPI monitoring and incident investigations.

Qualifications

• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• ISO 9001 and ISO 31000 knowledge is preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or science.
• Experience in quality and/or risk management in oil & gas or energy sectors.
• Structured and solution-oriented with big-picture thinking.
• Strong communication and ability to influence others.
• Willing to work independently and take ownership.

Responsibilities

• Identify and handle risks and criticalities; follow up risk-reducing actions.
• Manage quality incidents, changes, nonconformities and deviations; ensure follow-up until closure.
• Participate in process performance analysis, root cause analysis and incident investigations.
• Monitor QRM targets, KPIs and trends; drive continuous improvement.
• Set up QA plans aligned with internal audits and other units.
• Represent QRM in contracting and supplier follow-up.
• Lead quality and risk governance within projects; work with project control and partners.
• Provide hands-on support to assets; follow up deviations and timely actions.

Function

Drive quality and risk management in your assigned area.
Your main task is to strengthen the organisation’s skills in Quality & Risk Management (QRM) through training, facilitation, support, analysis and follow-up in your area of responsibility.

Main Tasks

• Facilitate the identification and handling of risks and criticalities, and follow up risk-reducing actions.
• Facilitate the handling of quality incidents, changes, nonconformities and deviations, and follow up actions until they are closed.
• Facilitate and take part in work process performance analysis, root cause analysis and quality incident investigations, and share lessons learned.
• Monitor QRM targets, KPIs and trends, and drive continuous improvement.
• Set up, coordinate and follow up quality assurance plans, in line with internal audit and other business units.
• Represent QRM in contracting and supplier follow-up.
• Plan and carry out quality and risk campaigns.
• Operations
  Give hands-on support to the assets, with a strong focus on following up deviations and actions and closing them on time.
• Projects
  Be part of the project leadership team and make sure the project is planned and run in line with the company management system and project development model.
  Lead quality and risk governance within a project, working closely with project control, suppliers, and partners.
  Cooperate extensively with the extended QRM network.

Requirements

Qualifications

• A relevant engineering or science degree at bachelor’s or master’s level.
• Experience in quality and/or risk management in the oil and gas or energy industry.
• Knowledge of relevant standards, e.g. ISO 9001 and ISO 31000.
• Fluent English, written and spoken; Norwegian is an advantage.
• Structured and solution-oriented, with the ability to see the bigger picture.
• Good communication skills, and able to influence and motivate others.
• Works independently and takes ownership.
