Job summary

Øglænd System AS in Klepp is seeking an experienced Quality Lead to head the Quality function at our headquarters and main production plant. You will maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System, ensuring products, processes and operations meet customer, regulatory and certification requirements.

Quality Lead

We are looking for an experienced and engaging Quality Lead to lead our Quality function at our headquarters and main production plant at Øksnevad in Klepp.

In this role, you will have overall responsibility for maintaining and continuously improving our Quality Management System and ensuring that our products, processes and operations meet relevant customer, regulatory and certification requirements.

You will lead the local Quality team and work closely with Production, Engineering, suppliers, customers and other functions across Øglænd System and Hilti. This is a role for someone who enjoys combining leadership, quality expertise and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Your key responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop the local Quality team

Maintain and continuously improve our Quality Management System

Ensure continued conformity with ISO 9001 and EN 1090

Coordinate internal, certification and customer audits and follow up findings

Drive continuous improvement based on quality data, KPIs and structured problem solving

Lead the handling and resolution of customer, supplier and internal quality issues

Ensure effective quality controls throughout the manufacturing process, from incoming materials to final product release

Support supplier qualification, monitoring and development

Ensure appropriate material identification, documentation and traceability

Work closely with Production, Engineering and other technical functions to strengthen product and process quality

Who are we looking for?

We believe you have a strong quality background from a manufacturing environment and enjoy taking ownership, setting direction and developing both people and processes.

Ideally, you have:

A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management or another relevant technical field

Hands-on quality experience within manufacturing

Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, EN 1090 and Factory Production Control

Experience with certified management systems, audits, supplier quality, complaints and corrective actions

The ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and requirements

Strong written and spoken Norwegian and English

Good digital skills and experience with Microsoft Office, QMS and ERP systems
