Job summary

Siemens Healthineers in Oslo is seeking an Onsite Service Engineer for our Proton Therapy (PT) Service Team at Oslo University Hospital – Radiumhospitalet. This replacement role is part of an established PT Team, onsite.

You will support and maintain high‑tech medical equipment in a live clinical environment, perform preventative maintenance, and work with mechanical, electronic and electro‑mechanical systems. Fluent English is essential; Scandinavian language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or technician qualification in a relevant field.
• Mechanical skills with experience in vacuum pumps or electric motors.
• Fluent English, written and spoken; Scandinavian language a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain high-tech medical equipment in a live clinical environment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Work hands-on with mechanical, electronic, and electro-mechanical systems.
• Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and keep equipment running during clinical hours.
