Job summary

Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace's Space Systems & Surveillance team is seeking a Project Manager for Advanced Satellite Systems in Norway. You will lead satellite and space-related projects through all phases, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to meet contractual, technical, financial, and schedule requirements.

We value 3-5 years of relevant experience, strong leadership, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Proven experience in project management or leading complex technical projects.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams, suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Norwegian language skills are considered an advantage.
• Requires Norwegian and NATO security clearance and background check.
• Relevant higher education in engineering, technology, business, or related field.
• Experience from defence, aerospace, space, maritime surveillance, security, or other mission-critical environments may compensate for differences in educational background.

We think you should have

Relevant higher education within engineering, technology, business, or a related field. Experience from defence, aerospace, space, maritime surveillance, security, or other mission-critical environments is considered highly relevant and may compensate for differences in educational background.

Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience

Proven experience in project management and/or leading larger, complex technical projects

Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams, suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders

Solid understanding of project planning, cost control, risk management, and progress reporting

Excellent communication skills in English; Norwegian language skills are considered an advantage
