Job summary

Six Robotics, based in Oslo, is seeking a Product Manager to own the bridge between customer needs and engineering delivery for Valkyrie. You’ll translate field feedback and long-term strategy into a coherent, executable product direction, working at the center of engineering, projects, and UAV operations.

You will define what gets built, why, and ensure the engineering teams have the context to succeed, while adapting to real-world demands from customers and deployments.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience developing mission-critical software products with clear ownership from idea to delivery.
  • Strong understanding of the full product lifecycle from requirements and specification to delivery, validation, and iteration.
  • Excellent communication translating complex customer needs into clear engineering context, while keeping the bigger picture.
  • Fluency in English (Norwegian not required).

Responsibilities

  • Translate project and customer requirements into actionable product features: prioritize, scope, and refine features so engineering can execute with clarity and confidence.
  • Shape the product roadmap alongside the Head of Product: contribute to the vision, break it down into a detailed plan, and ensure it drives meaningful, deliverable work.
  • Bring clarity to engineering to ensure we build the right features: minimize product debt, reduce ad-hoc feature work, and safeguard long-term product quality.
  • Own operational product execution: track progress, manage priorities, and follow up on releases to keep product development structured and predictable.
  • Maintain product clarity and coherence: oversee trade-offs, dependencies, and release content to ensure each feature delivers real value internally before reaching engineering.
  • Validate and refine assumptions in the field: work and test the features with our field teams, to understand real-world performance and feed insights back into product decisions.
