A leading media company in Oslo is seeking an experienced Product Manager to join their Data Platforms team. This role involves shaping the platform roadmap, supporting stakeholder collaboration, and ensuring the data platform delivers value across media brands. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills, experience in managing data products, and familiarity with analytical tools. The position offers opportunities for professional development and meaningful work supporting democracy and independent journalism.
Help shape the future of data at Schibsted Are you passionate about creating clarity in complex tech environments and connecting dots across teams, needs and platforms? We’re looking for a Product Manager to join our Data Platforms team within Schibsted’s Data & AI organisation. In this role, you’ll report to the team's Engineering Manager and together you'll drive strategic planning, support stakeholder collaboration, and help ensure our data platform delivers clear value across Schibsted’s media brands in the Nordics.
Your work will include shaping and communicating the platform roadmap, aligning with business needs, and gathering use cases across the organisation. You’ll act as a key contact for platform users, support cross-team coordination, and contribute to long-term strategic direction — always with a focus on clarity, collaboration and real impact.
We believe this is a great role for someone who thrives in collaborative, cross-functional environments and who is motivated by helping strong technical teams succeed at scale.
You’ll likely thrive here if you're a strong communicator with a track record of simplifying complexity, someone who collaborates naturally across tech, product and data teams, and is skilled in stakeholder management. Curiosity, adaptability and comfort in agile, technical settings will also serve you well.
As for experience, we’re looking for someone with a background in product, project or program management — ideally within data, ad-tech or infrastructure domains. Familiarity with modern data and analytical tools like Snowflake, Amplitude, dbt or Kafka is a big plus, as is experience from data engineering, analytics or tracking. If you’ve worked in large, matrix organisations and know how to bring structure and focus, we’d love to hear from you.
