UiT The Arctic University of Norway invites applications for a fixed-term Postdoctoral Research Fellow position in linguistics, focusing on national minorities and diversity, linked to NAMED. The researcher will be based in Tromsø, affiliated with the MultiNor group, and work on interviews and analysis across educational contexts in Northern Norway.

Qualifications

• Requires Norwegian doctoral degree/PhD in a relevant field, or equivalent from abroad; the thesis must have been submitted by the deadline.
• Good command of Norwegian, Danish or Swedish, as well as strong English-language skills.

Responsabilités

• Active participation in the research community.
• Affiliation with Multilingual North: Diversity, Education and Revitalization (MultiNor) in Tromsø.
• Carry out the project within the 3-year term; ensure ability to complete the project.
• Submit a project description (max five pages) describing background, theoretical framework, methodology, research questions, data collection and analysis, and a work plan.
