Job summary

The University of Oslo invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship for the TIDAL project. The project runs from 2026 to 2030 and includes international collaborators. The appointment can be three years without teaching or four years with teaching up to 25% of the workload.

Applicants should hold a doctoral degree in Law or related social science, with strong English and cross-disciplinary research experience. Starting date is January 2027.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree equivalent to Norwegian PhD in Law or related social science.
• Dissertation submitted for evaluation by appointment time.
• Excellent English; Norwegian/Danish/Swedish proficiency is advantageous.
• Knowledge of cross- and interdisciplinary research.
• Policy field studies experience desirable.
• Cross-jurisdictional elements in legal research desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with TIDAL team on research objectives and dissemination.
• Engage in international dissemination activities and collaboration with scholars outside the project group.
• Assist in data collection, coding and analysis of policy field studies, and publish research articles.
