Job summary

University of Inland Norway (INN) offers a 100% Postdoc position in reproductive biotechnology within the Centre for Embryology and Healthy Development – CRESCO at INN, Hamar. The role develops an independent research profile across cattle, swine, and fish biology, with cutting-edge epigenetic and genomic approaches.

The successful candidate will join the CRESCO group and be academically supervised by project leader Professor Elisabeth Kommisrud, in a highly international, collaborative

Qualifications

  • PhD with a strong experimental background in embryology and related biology.
  • Publications in internationally recognised journals.
  • Experience supervising students is an advantage.
  • Experience with molecular techniques, (epi)genomic experiments, gene expression analysis, bioinformatics, or data analysis.
  • Excellent written and oral English.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an independent research profile.
  • Contribute to research project applications and expand the group’s project portfolio.
  • Work effectively in multi-partner research projects.
  • Engage with industry partners in ongoing projects.
  • Supervise MSc and PhD students in relevant areas.
  • Other tasks may be assigned.
