Job summary

University of Inland Norway (INN) invites applications for a 3-year Postdoc in embryology with emphasis on molecular biology, bioinformatics and microscopy. The researcher will join the CRESCO centre and work with a dynamic group including PhDs, postdocs and engineers.

The role focuses on epigenetic/epitranscriptomic information, with cattle, swine and fish models, and techniques like in vitro fertilization, ICSI, Chip-Seq and microscopy. English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• PhD with strong experimental background in embryology and related topics.
• Excellent publications in internationally recognized journals.
• Experience supervising students is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Gradually develop an independent research profile.
• Contribute to grant applications and expand project portfolio.
• Collaborate in multi-partner research projects and with industry.
• Supervise MSc and PhD students in relevant areas.
