About the role

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable PLM Specialist to join our dedicated team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), engineering processes, and related software systems—particularly those within the Siemens ecosystem.

As a PLM Specialist, you will play a critical role in configuring, customizing, implementing, and supporting our PLM solutions to meet business needs and enhance operational efficiency. Our work primarily focuses on Siemens Teamcenter and its integrations with CAD-tools like NX, Solidworks, etc. A curios mindset, and willingness to learn is the key to success.

Location: Norway

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, customize, implement, and maintain Siemens Teamcenter PLM.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including engineering, manufacturing, IT, and business users—to gather requirements and design PLM solutions.
  • Develop and implement PLM system functionalities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the PLM environment.
  • Provide training, support, and guidance to PLM system users.
  • Manage system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
  • Stay current with PLM trends and technologies, particularly within the Siemens ecosystem.
  • Assist with data migration activities for PLM implementations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with PLM system administration, preferably Siemens Teamcenter
  • Solid understanding of PLM fundamentals: Bill of materials management, Change Management, Document Management, CAD data management.
  • Familiarity with engineering and manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
  • Experience with CAD software, especially NX, and its PLM
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team.
