TOMRA Feedstock is seeking a Plant Accountant and Controller to establish and perform general ledger accounting for one of our Norwegian plants. The role is located at our Norwegian plant Områ (2-3 days per week) with remote work possibilities the rest of the time, and expect travel 3-4 times per year.
Responsibilities include monthly/annual statements, IFRS compliance, VAT declarations, bank reconciliations, cash flow forecasting, ERP key user duties, and budgeting support.

We are looking foraPlantAccountant and Controller(m/f/d)within TOMRA Feedstock who willestablishandperformgeneral ledger accounting forone of our plants.
Thepositionislocatedat ourNorwegian plantOmrå(2-3 days / week) with the possibility to work remotely the rest of the time.Readiness to travel 3-4 times a yearisrequired.
Responsibilities ofthePlantAccountant and Controller(m/f/d):
Prepare monthly and annual financial statements
Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and accounting standards as well as group accounting standards (IFRS)
Cooperate with external auditors and serve as contact person for tax authorities;preparation of VAT-declaration
Handle bank transactions and reconciliations as well as preparation of cash flow forecasts and dunning process
Act as ERP Key User for finance applications;participatein the implementation of the system; proactively produce input for continuous improvement of the system
Create and generate monthly reports and variance analysis of actual performance and provide recommendations foroptimizationmeasures
Support in regular budgeting process
Work on special projects with focus on continuous process improvements
5+ years of professional experience as a fully qualified accountant in a production environment
Comprehensive knowledge of cost and asset accounting, product costing, operations controlling
Experienced user of ERP-systems, ideally IFS
Proficiencyin Norwegian and English
Educational background
University Degree in Accounting/Controlling or Finance
Other skills / abilities
Excellent communications skills and the ability to comfortably communicate financial information to senior levels in the organization
Understanding of recycling processes would be nice to bring
