Job summary

The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) invites applications for a three-year PhD Research Fellow in Geography with a focus on Post-Fossil Fuel Transitions in Petroleum-Producing Nations. The candidate will join the Geographies of Just and Sustainable Transitions group and be affiliated with NTNU Energy, supervised by Alexander Dodge and co-supervised by Amber Nordholm and Espen Moe.

Starting date as soon as possible/by agreement.

Qualifications

• Fluent oral and written English
• Experience with qualitative research in social sciences
• Strong research proposals and plan

Responsibilities

• Complete the doctoral education and obtain a doctorate
• Carry out high-quality research within the project scope
• Be part of the Just and Sustainable Transition group
• Organize events for NTNU Energy Beyond Fossil Fuel Focus Area
• Publish academically and disseminate publicly
• Participate in international conferences and research stays
