Qualifications

• Master's degree in atmospheric sciences, physics, applied mathematics, computer science or related disciplines.
• Experience with atmospheric dynamics or related coursework/research is required.
• Experience with scientific programming using Python, R, Matlab, Julia, C/C++ or similar is required.
• English skills (written and spoken) are important.

Responsibilities

• Perform PhD research in climate dynamics as part of NorCPMNext.
• Collaborate with project partners and provide contributions to regional climate predictions.
• Engage in an approved educational program for PhD degree within 3 years.
