Part Time Turner in Alta, Norway

We are currently seeking an experienced Turner to join our team in Alta, Norway on a part-time basis. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines and equipment used in the turning process to create precise and accurate metal components.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine specifications and dimensions
• Set up and operate manual or computer-controlled machines such as lathes, grinders, and mills
• Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of finished products
• Monitor machine operations to detect any malfunctions or defects
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on machines to maintain optimal performance
• Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and improve production processes
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working with machinery
• Keep work area clean and organized at all times

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Turner in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, etc.

Salary
