University of King's College invites applications for a part-time instructor in the Contemporary Studies Program. The course The Idea of Race in Philosophy, Literature, and Art will be taught during the winter term (January 11–April 13, 2027) with classes Mondays and Wednesdays 4:05–5:25 pm.

The successful candidate will teach 3 hours per week, evaluate assignments, attend meetings, and may supervise a teaching assistant.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in interdisciplinary humanities or a related field is required.
• Prior university teaching experience is required.
• Expertise in critical race theory is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Teach The Idea of Race in Philosophy, Literature, and Art (CTMP 2115.03/BAFD2215.03) during the winter term.
• Evaluate assignments and provide timely feedback.
• Attend staff meetings and hold office hours.
