Job summary

Lace Lithography is seeking a Junior Accountant to join our Bergen Finance team. The role offers hands-on accounting with opportunities to automate processes, working closely with the Accounting Manager.

It’s a part-time position (3 days/week) with potential growth and involvement across Norway, Spain, and the Netherlands. You’ll help keep books accurate and up to date, support reporting and audits, and gain exposure to diverse finance tasks in a fast-scaling tech environment.

Qualifications

• Currently studying accounting, or recently graduated.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping and double-entry accounting.
• Knowledge of NGAAP and IFRS.
• Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
• Agile in Google Sheets and Excel.
• Adaptable to learning new information systems.
• Accurate, structured and eager to learn.
• Able to work 2 to 3 days per week from Blomsterdalen office.

Responsibilities

• Register and process supplier invoices and receipts in our accounting system.
• Reconcile bank, supplier and other balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare and follow up on prepayment invoices.
• Support payroll checks and the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
• Help with month-end tasks, such as accruals and journal entries.
• Keep accounting documentation organised and ready for audit.
• Over time, take on more tasks across our group companies in Norway, Spain and the Netherlands.
